Hello my name is Martin Senges and I am currently working on my Master’s degree in Computer Science. I started programming when I was 11 years old, because I was fascinated by computer games I’ve played at that time. I was always wondering how one was able to make something this fun for others to enjoy. Eventually I would learn about C++ and read some books about how to program games in this language on a Windows pc. It was quite a challenge. Slowly but steadily I learned how to program console applications in this language. Later on I would try various frameworks to make games with graphics, most notebly SDL, Irrlicht and SFML in that order.
When I started my Master courses, I decided to also begin working on my own game framework and publish games with it. So I started learning OpenGL (3.x) on my own and use SDL to handle window management, audio and input.
